Former Ring of Honor booker Gabe Sapolsky has launched a scathing attack on Ring of Honor on his official Facebook page.
Sapolsky posted the comment, which was full of expletives, today in wake of the ‘Border Wars’ iPPV on Saturday. It was the first time that ROH had streamed an event in-house and fans were left disappointed when they had trouble accessing the stream although the full replay is now up.
A large majority of people struggled to see much, if any, of the show and while it is obviously frustrating for both the company and its fans, ROH has since announced that fans that bought the show will get June’s ‘Best In The World 2012’ iPPV for free. Alternatively, fans can request a full refund if they so desire.
Despite that, Sapolsky, who now runs his own wrestling promotions and an iPPV streaming website, today lashed out at his former employers.
He said: “When the ownership and management of a company doesn’t care or have enough respect for its employees and more importantly paying customers to spend enough money to have adequate equipment they can f*** off.”
“When a company decides to go on the cheap and take a risk that something like a website will work instead of doing everything in their power to guarantee it will work they can f*** off. If the ownership and management doesn’t care or respect it’s fans enough to do this they don’t deserve your support.”
While he doesn’t mention ROH by name, he has made it clear who his comments were aimed at. This is not the first time that Sapolsky has publicly criticised ROH and it more than likely won’t be the last.
