Former ROH World Television Champion Adam Cole will challenge for the ROH World Title when Ring of Honor returns to Toronto May 4 at “Border Wars 2013.”
Nigel McGuinness announced a flurry of title matches at last weekend’s TV taping after Steve Corino said that ROH World Champion Kevin Steen had defeated everyone the company has to offer.
Cole has been one of the hottest wrestlers on the roster over the past year. He had an impressive performance at February’s “Honor vs Evil.” Despite succumbing to an F-Cinq, Cole showed a lot of heart throughout the Six-Man main event.

Although the date is set for his next title opportunity, he does not yet know for certain who he will be challenging. Steen has at least two title defenses before “Border Wars 2013.”
Steen will defend the title against Mark Briscoe March 30 at “WAR” from Asheville, N.C.
The title will be defended once again one week later on iPPV at “Supercard of Honor VIII” when Jay Briscoe will challenge for the belt.
Cole will finally get his shot at the title once again at “Border Wars 2013” from Toronto May 4, but he will have to wait to find out who he will be challenging. No matter who it is, Cole has a great chance of becoming the new ROH World Champion.
