Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander def. ACH & Tadarius Thomas

Coleman and Alexander pickup a much needed win in a fantastic opening match. C&C used their ‘Overtime’ finishing move to gain the pinfall on ACH. Lots of innovative high flying offence here, was a great way to start off the show.

Roderick Strong def. Mike Bennett

This was scheduled to be a triple threat featuring Mike Mondo, but Kevin Kelly informs us that he has suffered a training injury, resulting in the match now being a 1 on 1 contenst. Roderick made Bennett tap to the Stronghold at one point, but Maria distracted the ref. Bennett then capitalized with a box office smash but only got a 2. Shortly after, Cheeseburger appeared and started making out with Maria. This caused a distraction and Strong was able to pick up the win with the Sick Kick.

I Quit Match
BJ Whitmer def. Rhett Titus

Rhett enters through the crowd with Steve Corino, who cuts a promo about the match and how SCUM will beat Lethal/Elgin later tonight. Corino interferes in the match within 30 seconds by grabbing BJ’s foot under the bottom rope. This results in Nigel getting referees to escort Corino away from ringside. Rhett Titus tried to use zip ties to tie BJ to the ropes, but Whitmer was able to counter and tie Rhett to the ropes instead. Rhett refuses to quit so BJ grabs a chair, as he is about to use it on Rhett, Corino appears and sacrifices himself. Rhett then quits to BJ doesn’t hit Corino with the chair. Wow that was weird. SCUM then beat down Whitmer, and our next match begins as Lethal/Elgin make the save.

Jimmy Jacobs & Cliff Compton def. Michael Elgin & Jay Lethal/Kevin Steen

Match begins straight away after Lethal & Elgin save BJ Whitmer from a SCUM beatdown. Starts with a lot of brawling outside, once in the ring, Elgin holds Jacobs in a delayed suplex for what must’ve been near 45 seconds. Later in the match, Lethal tweaks his knee when landing on the outside, refs and Elgin are checking on him. Corino is demanding SCUM be awarded the victory. Elgin refuses to let the match be thrown out and is now taking on SCUM 2 on 1.

Kevin Steen is here! He’s replaced Lethal and is now helping Elgin take on Jacobs & Compton. Steen goes for a Package Piledriver on Compton, but Jacobs rolls him up from behind and steals the victory. SCUM now has a future ROH World Title shot, and Steve Corino is officially on the commentary team.

During intermission they show El Generico vs. Taiji Ishimori followed by Paul London vs. Michael Shane

Tommaso Ciampa Returns

The show is back from intermission and RD Evans is in the ring with QT Marshall and a microphone. My stream keeps buffering but the fans appear to be Fandangoing, which RD Evans says is a horrible song. RD is interrupted by ominous music, which leads to the return of Tommaso Ciampa! He heads straight for the ring and takes down QT. Evans helps Marshall escape, for now!

Eddie Edwards def. Taiji Ishimori

In the match of the night so far, Edwards defeats Ishimori with the Die Hard. The crowd chant “Please come back” to Ishimori, hopefully we’ll see more of him in ROH in the future.

ROH World TV Championship
Matt Taven (c) def. Mark Briscoe

Truth Martini is out with two Hoopla Hotties this time, lets hope Nigel can control his excitement. Matt Taven retains the TV Title via rollup. The two Hoopla Hotties started making out, distracting Mark, allowing Taven to capitalise

 Davey Richards def. Paul London

Lots of stream issues during this one. The bits and pieces I’ve seen have been good. Crowd are hostile towards Davey and he’s playing the heel role. London goes for a piledriver on the outside but Richards reverses it into a brutal tombstone. London manages to make it into the ring before the 20 count. Davey hits a double footstomp off the top rope to the apron and lands right on London’s face. London ends up going for a shooting star press off the top, Davey puts the knees up and picks up the win.

ROH World Championship
Jay Briscoe (c) def. Adam Cole

Todd Sinclair was taken out at the end of the match, which led Steve Corino to come out and offer Adam Cole a SCUM shirt. Whilst Cole was deliberating, McGuinness ran into the ring and gave Corino a Tower of London. After this, Briscoe gave Cole a Jay Driller to retain the ROH World Title.
