Two Spot Monkeys is updated today with the debut of "Head to Head". Tom and I will make WWE pay per view picks throughout the year and see who is better at predicting what the wacky world of WWE is going to do! There is a side bet as well, with a painful punishment for the loser!

^ This better not just be the usual throwaway match like the WWE always tends to do with matches like this...

They were going great but Daniel Bryan wins by DQ when Jericho interferes, coming in physical contact with Bryan first and then going after Punk. Bryan is of course acting like he just scored a major victory seeing as that's his persona now.

Not necessarily. Jericho and Punk are both in the EC. It just builds that.

But that's what it seems it is leading to; Jericho vs Punk.

And what was wrong with that? You'd rather them actually have a winner? You do realize this is WWE...? Right?

Actually I was just reporting what happened. What they did worked. Great match that builds the next PPV and/or a Wrestlemania storyline and lets Daniel Bryan's current gimmick develop more.

Heck, a match where AmDrag is something other than a bumping dummy is great advancement over what he was stuck with for the past few weeks on SD and into the Rumble.

As of right now I'm willing to bet both Dragon and Punk escape Elimination Chamber with their belts.

I don't know why WWE has this culture of booking more or less every first-time champion like utter shit, whose sole purpose is to barely retain the belt until the next coronation for the Designated Main Eventer. It's idiotic booking in the long-term, because it hinders the title holder - especially since they're usually kicked down to midcard as soon as they drop the belt.

I know, if they're not sure about them carrying the title why give it to them in the first place? Why not slowly build them up and give them the belt when they actually believe in them.

It says a lot that WWE are stumped that there isn't anyone on the roster who can step onto the same level as Cena or Orton, yet their booking is the number one thing that hinders it. Has nobody figured out that giving Batista a strong initial title reign made him for the remainder of his WWE career?

The same goes for the way they're somehow blaming Miz for Survivor Series' low buyrate - even though they spent weeks of free TV demonstrating how utterly inferior Miz and Truth were to Cena and The Rock, so why pay for the PPV when the result is more foregone than usual?

Exactly, having your WWE Champion feuding for weeks with a guy who was never on camera and was just the Talent Relations guy (and judging by what wrestlers have said in interviews, a really bad one) is clearly only going to hurt his credibilty.

They had a good thing going with Mark Henry it was working really well, shame he got injured. Imagine if Henry would've kept the belt until Wrestlemania and lost it to a young guy (e.g. Bryan) they would have gotten over huge as the guy who finally defeated one of the most dominant champs of all time. They probably would have had Orton heroically beat Henry at Mania, which clearly wouldn't do anything for company.

They have a good thing going with Sheamus dominating all of his opponents and having not being pinned/submitted on TV or PPV since November 1st, yet he clearly hasn't done much of anything (or had any huge wins until the Rumble) yet he's still over huge. My bet is he'll eventually lose his win streak to Orton which will be them falling into the same trap yet again.
