Yeah, people don't pay to watch a foregone conclusion, even if The Rock is wrestling. The problem is a good portion of wrestling fans don't care about their new generation and it's all down to them not having a vision and 100% getting behind them and putting their time into really building the future.

You always hear that Raw was changed 5 times in the hours leading up to the show, that's ridiculous they should have finished writing the show in advance of the day it goes live, Stephanie McMahon said recently that they have 30 writers, a Movie doesn't have that many, what are all these supposed writers doing that one or two people couldn't do? Most of them are probably yes men anyway that agree with whatever the guy next them says.

One of the reasons they were so successful in the late 90's was because they never looked at a quarter hour rating through a microscope like they do now, like last year when Del Rio dropped the belt to Cena because of a couple of slightly lower ratings only to win it back a couple of weeks later, it's ridiculous.

Yeah, I mean, if they aren't on a guys bandwagon, why even have him win the title to begin with? To lower the value and prestige of it? Because they've been doing that for years. :/

Bump.

So...does anyone actually think Cena's going to fully "Embrace The Hate"?

I think there's more chance of Jim Cornette winning the ROH World Title.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cena does turn heel in the not too distant future.
Yes, they make a ton of cash off of his merchandise, and they don't want to lose that, but they also are smart enough to realize that his heel turn would generate massive ratings.

This might be a long shot, but a perfect time to do it would be at Wrestlemania.

Cena, love him or hate him, has always been a company man. He doesn't take time off like some other wrestlers.

The Rock beats him at WM and the fans go nuts.

Cena, frustrated at the lack of respect after all he's given the company, finally loses it and turns heel right after the match.

And, if the reports are true that the Rock will stick around after WM, this would build towards another match.

Just an idea.

Or Cena cheats to beat The Rock at Mania thus turning Heel in the process. Either way i have a feeling a Cena heel turn is going to happen this year.

Just saw a rumor that may be a possible spoiler...

Spoiler: show
Christian posted a picture on his Twitter account of a postcard that read "Love from Milwaukee" where tonight's PPV is. Speculation is that he may replace Santino.

By playing up to his image as a company man (albeit a company man who buries just about everyone he facei booking problems for said company...) is a straightforward way to make Cena heel. Heck, some of Punk's promos last summer - especially the one comparing him to the Yankees - laid plenty of groundwork for this.

Brodus Clay has been rapidly pulled from TV and his in-ring work deemed "unsafe and reckless" by Vince, before booting him back down to FCW.

Time to troll people who were saying what a big future he had in WWE...

You have to laugh again at this enormous company who have everyone wait weeks for this guy to debut on TV, only to then take him back off soon after because he's apparently unsafe. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence when that can happen does it? It's all a joke really, the recent conference calls were basically the same again too where they go over how much the buyrates are down and they've lost but Vince basically says "everything is amazing and on the up" yeah..

Raw was good tonight. Cena's work on the mic in the last couple of weeks has been great and he's really exposed The Rock.
