No idea. He's the only ROH guy in FCW who's matches I haven't seen. I hope we still get the UFO, Big Swing and European Uppercut after European Uppercut.

What I've seen of FCW, he's been winning with a sort of cravat variant of the anaconda vice.

However, one thing to worry about...

As previously reported, Antonio Cesaro debuts on this week's WWE Smackdown in a segment with William Regal. Regal introduced Cesaro to John Laurinaitis during the segment. Cesaro's WWE gimmick will be that he is a European Rugby player.

Also, for what it's worth, Raw's dark match went a little something like this...



(Not his debut, though - he beat JTG in a dark match on the post-WM raw)

Honestly I don't see a problem with Claudio's gimmick. We know nothing about it other than that brief tidbit of info; remember Bryan Danielson originally had the gimmick of a wrestling geek when he came into NXT, and look how it has evolved far beyond that. People can change gimmicks once they've added other facets to their character.

I have confidence. Respected people ranging from Jim Ross to Ricky Steamboat said they loved Claudio when they observed FCW stuff, above all else they're the trusted talent scouts and agents at this point.

Given that rugby players are mainly known for getting remarkably drunk and lighting their farts on fire, it's reason for concern - especially if he's partnered with Natalya...

You need to go watch his matches against Ambrose right now!!

He took on Ohno (Hero) recently on the TV show as well so those matches may be on YouTube, but I'm not sure as I've got some catching up to do with FCW. Unfortunately his match with Cesaro (Claudio) was at a live event. His FCW 15 match against Richie Steamboat was good too.

im not feeling the rugby gimmick so far...new finisher is, um interesting.

The rugby aspect is more of a background than a gimmick. If the announcers hadn't mentioned it, you wouldn't have known it.

I liked the debut a lot.... that was a killer European Uppercut near the end. The finisher is just kind of there.... he'll probably change it before too long. My only gripe: His music is absolutely awful and does nothing for him.
