Ordering from Rf Video or highspots

Hey everyone. I'm thinking about getting those new ECW sets that Rf video released. I live in Quebec and Highspots is trying to charge me 20.00 to ship it. And yes i picked Standard!!! SO i went to Rf Video and they only charge like 6 dollars . I have never ordered from them and i wanted to know of any bad or good experiences with them. Thanks alot!!!!

I just wanted an easy answer! but i guess i should of anticipated that response. By the way was he actually busted having sex with a child or was he simply busted trying to meet up with a child for sex. I'm just curious. I don't support it, but i really want the dvd sets.

Never ordered from RF Video myself, but from a post I read a year ago...

So I ordered two ECWA shows from RF Video over a month ago and they have yet to send them to me or acknowledge the four emails I have sent about it. Of course they took the money for the DVD's no problem, so are they the shadiest company on earth or what? I know my bank contacted me right after I made the order and wanted to know if this was a trustworthy business and I figured they were since I had never dealt with them before but apparently not. Have any of you ever ordered from them or dealt with them before? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Whether that happens to everyone or not... not worth the risk IMO. It's a headache I'd avoid.

If you order from HighSpots, you'll actually get your order. I haven't ordered from RF Video since the 90s, but even then they weren't super reliable. Highspots has been great to deal with.

EEK! Thanks. I won't be ordering from RF Video then. I find Highspots is a scam. 20.00 to ship to Canada is ridiculous and insulting. I guess i won't be getting them.

No he has never been "proven guilty".

I have ordered from both companies and it really depends on how fast you want your order. Highspots always gets me my stuff extremely fast. RF has been very slow both times I have ordered from him. I talk to Rob quite a bit on FB and he is just slow at hell at sending stuff. My last order was during a big sale over a year ago, took about 2 months so he threw in a few extras for me (this was before I was talking to him semi-regularly). One of the items I had purchased was the 2004 TPI, well disc 4 ended up being a horrible VHS convert of the show, I told him and he checked his master and that was what he had got from Ian as well so he offered me anything else I wanted and I could keep the 2004 TPI, so I chose the 2009 TPI and it took a few more weeks to get it shipped, but I did get it.

I know Smart Mark Video does not release ECW stuff but if you are ever in need of other great indies like AAW or Chikara they are VERY friendly and are always really prompt on their shipping.

Which sets are you looking for by the way? I might be able to help you out in someway, shoot me a PM.

Im thinking about getting those new ECW dvd sets that have been released like the RVD TV title reign, History of the ECW World title or Raven vs Dreamer feud. Highspots charges like 20.00 for those to be shipped to Canada. RF charges like 7 bucks but i don't want to be worried im never getting them either. I don't get why HS would charge so much.

Highspots has ALWAYS delivered for me.

I will order from RF before I order directly from PWG - he may take awhile, but he WILL get around to getting your orders to you within at least a year. PWG will have you waiting over a year if they feel like it.

Those who boycott RF for his horrendous personal life decisions are probably the same ones who are entertained watching Kobe Bryant and Michael Vick apply their crafts.

Nobody said it was acceptable that he did it. Some people do change, including terrorists, murders, and predators.

You're right - Kobe just said something that leads people to believe he is a rapist. All Vick did was murder some life forms that couldn't defend themselves. But hey, they walk on four legs instead of two, so let's not hold him to the same standard as a pedo.

If you buy from RF Video you're supporting a pedophile and that means you're just as guilty as he is.

I'm sure this argument would go far in a court of law.

I've ordered from both and highspots is definitely more reliable. Highspots is always prompt, whereas with RF Video- sometimes they are fast and other times they are really slow(once I ordered from them and it took over a month for me to get my item).

Same here...i always order from Highspots, very fast and excellent service. I live in Canada and couple years back my order got lost and they reshipped it no questions asked.

As for RF Video i ordered once couple years back without reading the horror stories and it took them 3 months to ship. Never again.

Oddly enought highspots releases RF's ecw stuff before RF does, like the ecw tv title history set(which I want) that just came out.

I would just go with Highspots. The extra money is worth the difference in the quality of service they provide.
