Not listening to anything right this second, but the new Riot came in the mail yesterday and I'll probably be listening to it in the car tomorrow.

Jay and Silent Bob Get Old.

I don't listen to podcasts, but this show is one of the funniest things ever.

*cheap plug* ROHWorld.com has a podcast - http://rohworld.com/podcasts.html :)

The best episode is probably episode 4 where we chat with TJ Perkins for about an hour, was a great interview.
Taking a stand since 2012.

Was the Rush the CD, DVD, or blu ray? I've heard great things about the DVD at least.

Being a big Rush fan, I have both the CD and the DVD. Saw them on the Time Machine Tour actually, great stuff. The CD doesn't leave out any of the songs as many live releases bands put out do, so that's a plus.

I've been tempted to get the blu ray. The idea of them playing all of Moving Pictures on one show definitely has me intrigued.

Quick thoughts on some of the other stuff you mentioned, I've not picked up the new Megadeth yet, but probably will at some point. The new Steel Panter is a ton of fun, but not quite as funny as the first album though. And I really liked the new Iced Earth.

It's worth the buy IMO. I like the new Megadeth, I prefer this one over Endgame. I agree on the Steel Panther one, it has it's moments, but the first is a bit more fun. I love the new Iced Earth, hoping to see them live in March. Stu was a great choice for the new singer.

Only thing I'm not too keen on is his voice on the ballads. I really don't know what it is that's not connecting for me. Otherwise he is a perfect fit for Iced Earth. His mid range, his falsettos, and his growls are all awesome and a perfect fit. I'm a fan of Ripper but much prefer Block for Iced Earth. I still give Barlow the edge for Iced Earth vocalists, but not by much. Of course I dug the hell out of the singer on the first album as well, so take what I say with a grain of salt :) .

Listening to the latest Twisted Tower Dire, Make It Dark, again. Just really good stuff. This one is kind of NWOBHM tinged Traditional metal.
