The Future Is Now‏

They were without a doubt one of the best young teams to hit ROH in years.  In the blink of an eye, however, it appears that the Future Shock partnership of Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole has come to an end.  Following the events of Young Wolves Rising, which saw Cole pin World Champion Davey Richards in the tag team main event, it would appear that neither man is interested in continuing on the tag team path.  Fortunately for both men, their singles abilities are not lacking, and it has put them in quite a unique situation.

March 30th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL at Showdown in the Sun – Day 1, O’Reilly, via several impressive singles outings, has earned himself a TV Title match against champion Jay Lethal.  Likewise, Cole has earned himself a shot at the winner April 7th in Baltimore.  While the implosion of the team is unfortunate, it has certainly opened the door to tremendous opportunities for two very talented wrestlers.  This situation will all be resolved over the next few weeks, as the former Future Shock now take aim at singles glory.
