A Hero’s Homecoming‏

It’s been six years since Chris Hero made his debut in ROH.  On January 14, 2006 in Philadelphia, Hero stepped into an ROH ring for the first time for a World Title match against then-champion Bryan Danielson.  Little did anyone know just how important that date and match would end up being. Over the next five years, Hero firmly established himself as a top name in Ring of Honor, gaining championships, accolades, and the endearment of ROH fans worldwide.

It is with great anticipation, then, that Hero returns to the place where it all began for him in ROH.  On January 20, 2012 at The Homecoming, Chris Hero will be back wrestling for ROH in Philadelphia as he faces “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin.  Elgin, current Survival of the Fittest champion and one of the recent breakout stars in ROH, is determined to spoil Hero’s homecoming.  Emotions will definitely be running high as Chris Hero battles Michael Elgin in Philadelphia!
