Ring of Honor Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness promised a renewed focus on the tag team division during the ROH World Titles vacancy, and that’s exactly what’s happening with the return of the Forever Hooligans.
Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov made their ROH tag team debut as the Forever Hooligans in a losing effort to the American Wolves at the “11th Anniversary Show.”
They are scheduled to compete in ROH once again with three dates scheduled. Romero and Koslov will wrestle on the June 27 television taping in Providence, R.I., then will appear at “All Star Extravaganza V” in Toronto Aug. 3, and finish their tour of the company Aug. 17 at “Manhattan Mayhem V” in New York City.
The Hooligans looked good in their match at the “11th Anniversary Show” and at the next day’s television taping, so the team is a welcome addition through the end of summer. Romero and Koslov will help round out the cards with fresh matchups, and should give teams like the C&C Wrestle Factory and adrenalineRUSH wins over world-traveled wrestlers.
