Naomichi Marufuji’s Replacement Announced for ‘Border Wars’

When Naomichi Marufuji suffered a serious leg injury, Ring of Honor had to scramble to find a suitable replacement for “Border Wars” weekend in Toronto, Canada.

The company did just that by announcing Paul London will make his Ring of Honor return May 4th and 5th.

London, who hasn’t wrestled in Ring of Honor in nearly 10 years, will claim Marufuji’s matches during the weekend. On Friday, May 4th, London will go one-on-one with “The American Wolf” Davey Richards on iPPV for “Border Wars.” London will be in action at the next day’s television taping when he battles Michael Elgin. These are both first time matches in Ring of Honor, and they’re not ones to be missed.

London was a pioneer for Ring of Honor during its infancy, and it’s great to see him return nearly a decade later.

“Border Wars” takes place May 4th, at the Ted Reeves Arena in Toronto, Canada and can be seen on iPPV.
