Paul London Returns To ROH!

Ring of Honor today announced that Paul London will once again return to the company!

London will be a part of ROH’s return to Toronto on Saturday, August 3 as they debut at the historic Maple Leaf Gardens. It was in Toronto that London last featured for ROH at ‘Border Wars 2013′.

The former WWE tag team champion was making his first appearance in almost ten years for Ring of Honor and faced off against Davey Richards for the first time ever. The pair put on a classic, clearly showing that London is as hungry as ever.

Unfortunately towards the end of the match, Richards went for a double stomp off the top rope to the downed London who was on the ring apron. Due to the length of the match, both men were heavily sweating and that meant that Richards’ feet slipped and instead of hitting London’s chest they hit has face.

Full credit must go to London who continued the match but he was eventually defeated by the ‘American Wolf’. The next day, he was supposed to face Michael Elgin at the TV tapings but due the concussion sustained in the match against Richards, that wasn’t possible.

Both London and ROH promised he would be back and that can now be confirmed. When ROH returns to Toronto on August 3, so will Paul London! His opponent is yet to be announced but whoever it turns out to be, it’s great to see Paul back in an ROH ring once again.
