Ring of Honor Star Frankie Kazarian’s Band VexTëmper Emerge From California Desert with “MPH” Single

Ring of Honor Star Frankie Kazarian’s Band VexTëmper Emerge From California Desert with “MPH” Single
Doom Engine Album Out April 7

In the echoes of the Sunset Strip lies the humble Yucca Valley, an ideal breeding ground for the band VexTëmper to create their brand of working class “desert metal.”

With the recent debut of their first single “MPH” online, VexTëmper makes a driving first impression. Bassist Frankie Kazarian said “MPH” was an obvious choice for leading track after witnessing how the song is received live.

“(MPH) just kicks you in the face and never lets up. We started opening with it and it is usually a crowd favorite,” Kazarian said. “It kind of sets the tone for what’s to come and gives people an idea of what they’re in for.”

Kazarian is known in the pro wrestling world as the “Heavy Metal Rebel” Frankie Kazarian, a decorated veteran who wears his heavy metal pride on his ring gear and often references hard rock and metal acts of the 1980s and 90s. It’s no surprise that “MPH” could fit in well with some of the heaviest and most infectious bands of that era.

“All of us love crunchy, driving, galloping guitars. We are influenced by a lot of different music, but the common thread is indeed 80s and 90s hard rock and heavy metal,” Kazarian said.

“MPH” is the first track on the Doom Engine album, which also features “Get Addicted”, the entrance music for Kazarian’s former tag team The Addiction with Christopher Daniels in Ring of Honor wrestling. Doom Engine is set for release on April 7, 2017.

“MPH” is available now on Spotify here and iTunes here. Stay tuned for more details from VexTëmper and Doom Engine.
