Rise & Prove Winners to Step Onto The Proving Ground‏‏

The Rise and Prove Tournament was designed in order to give fresh, new faces the opportunity to jump into the mix in ROH and start climbing the ladder.  To that extent, it certainly has succeeded.  Last weekend in Cincinnati, the Austrailian team of Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls stood tall at the end of the tournament, earning themselves a chance to step onto the Proving Ground.

They won’t have to wait long.  March 30th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Haste and Nicholls will attempt to quickly capture a dream as they meet the ROH World Tag Team Champions in a Proving Ground match.  While we don’t yet know who the champions will be, The Young Bucks or The Briscoes, when ROH returns to iPPV, Haste and Nicholls are undeterred in their preparation, and seemingly unworried about the mystery of their opponents.  Can this team of upstart newcomers step into ROH and become the next big team?  We’ll find out as ROH presents Showdown in the Sun!
