The next and final broadcast of ROH on HDNet airs on Monday, the 4th April at 8pm and 11pm only on HDNet.
Tonight marks the final episode of ROH on HDNet after a two year relationship between Ring of Honor and HDNet. This show is being billed as “one final match for one final show” and that’s exactly what we are getting.
Expect a fantastic last episode as we see a huge six-man tag team match involving six of the biggest names in ROH. Former ROH World Champion Roderick Strong teams up with the former ROH World Tag Team Champions The Kings of Wrestling (Claudio Castagnoli & Chris Hero) to take on Davey Richards and The Briscoes Brothers.
Strong lost the World Title to Eddie Edwards at ‘Manhattan Mayhem IV’ and lost both his matches at ‘Honor Takes Center Stage’. He suffered defeats to El Generico and one of his opponents tonight – Davey Richards. Both of these were rematches that Strong had previously won but he was unable to bounce back from his title match defeat with a victory. The Kings of Wrestling know how Strong feels, they lost their ROH World Tag Team Titles to Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) two days short of celebrating a year with the belts. Both Strong and the Kings will be looking to get a much needed victory in the last ever episode of ROH on HDNet.
Davey Richards is a man on a mission. After losing to Strong at ‘Final Battle 2010’, he vowed that he would come back better than ever and he has. He is undefeated since that match and beat Strong in Atlanta. His eyes are firmly fixed on the ROH World Title and fans are salivating at the prospect of a match between him and fellow American Wolf Eddie Edwards for the biggest prize in Ring of Honor. The Briscoes team up with Richards to take on long term rivals The Kings of Wrestling. The Briscoes lost the titles to The Kings at ‘The Big Bang’ and have tried and failed to win them back. They are now focused on the All Night Express who they beat at ‘Honor Takes Center Stage’ but a win over the former Tag Champs would certainly do them no harm at all.
All this on the only hour of Professional Wrestling on Monday nights – ROH on HDNet!
