The show starts with a recap of the aftermath of the main event from “Death Before Dishonor XI” when Adam Cole superkicked Jay Briscoe and attacked Michael Elgin.
Adam Page vs ACH
They start out with a quick feeling out process that features ACH showing off his athleticism to get the quick advantage. Page fights back with a spinebuster and a side suplex to get a near fall. ACH connects with an enziguri from the apron and a springboard DDT. Page answers back with a standing moonsault. ACH ducks and sends Page to the floor and hits a beautiful springboard dive. He had to get at least 10 feet above the ring. ACH goes for a top rope crossbody, but Page rolls through and steals the three count.

ROHWorld.com’s Thoughts: ACH was by far the most over of the two wrestlers in the match and his offense was as great as ever, but Page going over was fine. He is a solidified singles wrestler while ACH has been primarily a tag team star. The match itself was too short to be anything special but both wrestlers were able to get some of their flashier offense in. It was about as entertaining as a five minute match can be.
Nigel McGuinness is in the ring and says “Death Before Dishonor XI” was the culmination of the greatest tournament in company history. He says he was proud to be in ROH at the end of the main event when Jay Briscoe handed the belt over to Adam Cole. But he was embarrassed when Cole superkicked Briscoe and attacked Michael Elgin. He turns his attention to “Glory by Honor” and the Champions vs All-Star main event and announces Michael Elgin as the first all-star. This brings out Briscoe and the former champion says there’s no way to have the Champions vs All-Star match when the real champion isn’t even in it. He says he talked to doctors and he’ll be cleared to wrestle five days before “Glory by Honor.” Elgin comes to the ring while wearing cowboy boots and says he had Cole pinned even though the ref couldn’t count it. He says Briscoe never defended the title against him when he was the No. 1 contender. He says he doesn’t care who’s on his team in Chicago because he’s fighting for himself. Elgin says he’s the uncrowned World Champion and Briscoe says he’s the real champion.

Mike Mondo vs Roderick Strong
Strong quickly goes on the attack with his patented chops and backbreakers. Mondo responds by slamming Strong into the mat. Strong fights out of the corner with a knee strike and dropkick. He’s fired up and connects with a huge superplex for a two count. Strong hits the Gibson Driver to pick up the pin.

After the match, Strong gets on the mic and says he’s been lucky to wrestle for the best company in the world for the last decade. He goes over his accomplishments during his career and says he’s been the most consistent performer on the roster.
ROHWorld.com’s Thoughts: Well, this match happened. It was almost an extended squash for Strong, which was surprising. Still, there wasn’t much to this and I doubt I’ll even remember it happened after the show.
Marshall Law is in the ring and Veda Scott says they were victims of an assault from Outlaw Inc. and Ring of Honor at “Manhattan Mayhem.” RD Evans says this time they’re prepared to face Homicide and Eddie Kingston.
Marshall Law vs Outlaw Inc.
QT Marshall met Kingston for the fight in the aisle, but Homicide snuck up from behind to attack Evans. Homicide hits an ace crusher on Marshall. Kingston backfists Evans and then Outlaw Inc hit an elevated bulldog for the pin.

ROHWorld.com’s Thoughts: This was another squash and exactly what should’ve happened at “Manhattan Mayhem.” The match was maybe two minutes long but it accomplished what it was meant to.
After the match, Homicide breaks even more of Evans’s fingers. Kingston says Outlaw is here to clean up ROH. Before that happens, they’ve got business with reDRagon and calls the tag team champions out for a prison style fight. They take a seat and refuse to leave until reDRagon comes out. After commercial, Kevin Kelly says it took every official the company has to remove the team from the ring.
ROH World TV Title
Matt Taven (c) w/ Truth Martini & the Hoopla Hotties vs. Jay Lethal
Taven immediately bails to the floor to consult Martini and the Hoopla Hotties. After a lockup, Lethal fakes getting tripped by Martini and the referee ejects the House of Truth from ringside. This gives Lethal the advantage and he connects with a suicide dive.Taven tries running to regroup and he eats another suicide dive. A springboard dropkick sends the champion to the floor and Lethal hits a third suicide dive as the show goes to commercial.
Back from the break and Taven catches the challenger in a Moonlight Drive type neckbreaker for a two count. Taven slows it down with a headlock and cuts off Lethal with a dropkick when he tries to mount a comeback. Taven yells at Lethal to stay down but that just fires the challenger up more and he begins to fight back, but Taven connects with an elbow to drop Lethal for a two count. Taven goes for a lionsault but Lethal gets his knees up and both men are down. They slug it out in the middle of the ring with Lethal getting the better of the exchange. The Lethal Combination gets a near fall. Taven blocks the Lethal Injection with a boot to the back of the head. Lethal gets another near fall following a superkick but Taven gets his shoulder up at the last second. The challenger goes to the top but Taven cuts him off. Lethal fights off a superplex and tries to get Taven on his shoulders. Taven maneuvers his way out of it and connects with the Climax to retain the title with a clean pinfall.

ROHWorld.com’s Thoughts: This is exactly what Taven needed to get the credibility his title reign desperately needed. He beat one of the top stars in Ring of Honor without any outside Hoopla and he did so with his finishing move. He stood toe-to-toe with Lethal and it made the champion look great. It didn’t hurt that this was one of Taven’s best matches since capturing the gold as he and Lethal had a lot of time to work with. I really liked this match and it closed out the show on a high note.
After the match, Truth Martini says Taven is a special wrestler because he has the Hoopla running through his veins. He says Taven will be the greatest TV Champion in the history of ROH.
