ROH World Tag Team Title Match
The Briscoes (c) defeated Jigsaw & Hallowicked

The Briscoes successfully defended against the CHIKARA team of Jigsaw & Hallowicked who had beaten them at ‘The Homecoming 2012’ to gain this chance. Said to have been a great main event with members of both companies coming down to support their guys. The crowd were really into this with some great brawling taking place with Mark Briscoe picking up the win with the froggy elbow drop on Jigsaw.

Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team defeated Davey Richards & Kyle O’Reilly

WGTT were total heels in this one and the crowd were definitely on their backs – especially Charlie Haas! Richards hit both Haas & Benjamin with a ton of strikes. The match was a lengthy one at around half an hour with WGTT picking up the win after Shelton hit the Paydirt on O’Reilly. There were hints of dissension in Team Ambition – will be interesting how they co-exist going forward.

The Colony defeated TJ Perkins, Adam Cole & Jay Lethal

This match was contested under Lucha Rules and was a trios match – both of those facts giving the advantage firmly to the CHIKARA team. The Colony impressed the ROH fans and even received a chant towards the end of the match. CHIKARA referee PJ Drummond was officiating after winning a coin toss against Todd Sinclair. At one point, TJP looked to have won the match but Drummond didn’t see the pin. Eventually, the ants got the win after Fire Any pinned TJP with the ROH team obviously frustrated.

El Generico & BJ Whitmer defeated Jimmy Jacobs & Kevin Steen

This war between four men who just hate each other was said to be amazing. Tons of brawling in this one and officials tried to stop the match at one point before it was made into a No DQ match! Loads of awesome spots in this one with the crowd loving every second of it. Whitmer, who was said to be in the best shape of his life, got the win after hitting a top rope suplex on Jacobs through a table!

The Bravados defeated The Young Bucks

The Bravado Brothers have just returned to ROH after wrestling in Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH for several months, staying in the company’s famous dojo at the same time. It was said that they looked much improved since their last ROH appearance and they managed to get the win over the Bucks with a rollup after a very entertaining 15 minute match. The Bandwagon is back in town!

Mike Bennett defeated Mike Sydal

Bennett didn’t have a scheduled opponent for tonight so he and Maria hit the ring and starting making out. Mike Sydal hit the ring to challenge Bennett and save the live crowd from emptying their stomachs! Bennett won a quick match with a TKO.

The All Night Express defeated The House of Truth

The HoT once again found it difficult to work as a cohesive team despite the event being called ‘Unity’. Roderick Strong seemed to get an injury during the match which caused Elgin to be pinned after the springboard blockbuster from ANX. It looked as if Strong was legit injured with Cary Silkin even checking on him. After the match, Strong and Elgin once again argued but Truth Martini was able to make them shake hands.
