ROHWorld Weekend Roundup (10/27/12)

Final ROH Taping of the Year

The year for Ring of Honor is winding down, with only two events left on the docket.

The next show will be the company’s final television taping of the year from the Rostraver Ice Gardens in Belle Vernon, Pa. on NOv. 3.

Announced so far for the tapings is a promo from Kevin Steen, something involving the recently sidelined Mike Mondo, Mike Bennett vs. Kevin Steen for the World Title, Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the Television Title, Roderick Strong vs. Tadarius Thomas, QT Marshall vs. Adam Page, Rhett Titus and B.J. Whitmer vs. Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs for the Tag Team titles, Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander vs. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team, and – MsChif vs. Allysin Kay.  This will be Kay’s debut with the company.  I cover a few promotions where she works, and she’s very good at what she does.

The tapings will presumably build to ROH’s final show of the year, Final Battle, which takes place Dec. 16 from New York City.

Survival of the Fittest Final This Weekend

This weekend’s ROH on Sinclair television show marks the end of the Survival of the Fittest tournament.  For those not keeping score, the six finalist are: Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Mike Mondo, Davey Richards, Michael Elgin, and Jay lethal.
