Final Taping Today
With the final television taping of 2012 tonight, Ring of Honor news has been relatively slow this week. The two most important news items concern tomorrow night’s taping from the Rostraver Ice Gardens in Belle Vernon, Pa.
First, Ring of Honor reported in its Oct. 30 Newswire that the newly unmasked Headbangers would face the Briscoes at the show.
The company is also planning on introducing a new storyline authority figure to take Jim Cornette’s place.
The rest of tomorrow night’s card sees Mike Bennett vs. Kevin Steen for the World Title, Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the Television Title, Roderick Strong vs. Tadarius Thomas, QT Marshall vs. Adam Page, Rhett Titus and B.J. Whitmer vs. Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs for the Tag Team titles, Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander vs. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team, and – MsChif vs. the debuting Allysin Kay. Plus, Mike Mondo is scheduled to be at the show, presumably to address his broken ankle which will sideline him for some time.
