Doomsday is Coming
Ring of Honor’s final show of the year, recently deemed “Final Battle: Doomsday,” looms on the horizon, with new matches for the Dec. 16 extravaganza becoming official every day.
This week it was announced Matt Hardy will face Adam Cole at the year-end spectacular as our staff projected. What staff did not project, however, was Cole’s television championship not being on the line in that match. Speculation about the match’s outcome has run rampant ever since ROH announced the non-title caveat to the contest, including Hardy beating Cole to earn a future television title shot.
Also finalized this week, Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs will defend their tag team championships in a three-way against Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander and the Briscoes.
