The Young Bucks Return!

In Nigel McGuinness’ pre-show Q&A show prior to the live event in Milwaukee, WI, he confirmed that The Young Bucks would be returning to Ring of Honor!

The popular tag team will be at ‘All Star Extravaganza V’ on August 3 at the historic Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada. It will be the duo’s first appearance for the company since their one-year contracts expired in October of last year.

In an exclusive interview on ROHCast, the Bucks outlined why they had left ROH and expressed their frustrations at being used so sparingly after being promised extra bookings due to being under contract.

At the time, the Bucks said they would be more than willing to come back to ROH on a freelance basis and despite them turning out for DGUSA and TNA recently, that looks to be the case.

The Bucks are one of the most entertaining tag teams in all of wrestling and it was criminal how ROH treated them when under contract. The handling of talent seems to be much better now after the departure of Jim Cornette and I’m excited to see who they will face in Toronto on what is looking like a very stacked show.

They have made it clear that they would not sign a contract again with ROH and who can blame them? But that shouldn’t stop ROH from booking the duo on a regular basis because they’re just too good not to be involved in some way. They only add even more depth to the tag team division which is something that can only be a good thing.
