According to Alejandro Gimenez Solo Wrestling, CMLL and ROH will have their first joint show in Mexico on August 4th.

Mas Lucha revealed the new on Twitter, with a link to a video. Pura Raza Producciones, a company based in Mexico, will manage the event. There have been no announcements as to where the show will be held or which wrestlers will be appearing. Neither CMLL or ROH have confirmed the event as of press time.
The relationship between the two companies has seen intermingling of talent on certain shows, but there has never been an event of this nature before. ROH stars such as Matt Taven, Flip Gordon and Kenny King have traveled to CMLL for short excursions. On the flip side, CMLL has sent many more stars to ROH, with names such as Ultimo Guerrero, Rush, Dragon Lee, Titan, Soberano Jr. , Rey Bucanero and Terible having appeared on ROH shows. Most recently, Guerrero Maya Jr., Stuka Jr. and the legendary Atlantis wrestled on ROH’s tour of Texas, challenging for the 6-Man titles during the State of the Art shows. Of all the talent, Taven has been the most successful, pinning Volador Jr. to win the NWA Welterweight Championship.
Whether this will feature a full lineup of talent from both companies is still up in the air, but both CMLL and ROH have had a history of cross promotional shows with NJPW, specifically the Fantasticamania and Honor Rising shows. This would be the first time ROH and CMLL will run their own show and coupled with ROH’s Re-United tour, could bring a great deal of international eyes to the product.
